PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF VENUE FOR THIS LUNCH
We will be joined by the Devon and Somerset Law Society who will be giving a presentation about the mediation services which they offer to both businesses and individuals as an alternative to Civil Court proceedings. Distinct from other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution, otherwise known as "ADR", mediation aims to provide opportunity for timely, cost effective and entirely voluntary solutions to disputes. In a business context, mediation can on occasion, salvage ongoing business relationships that may be strained or even lost as a result of Court proceedings. Devon and Somerset Law Society have a panel of fully qualified, locally based mediators, available to businesses.
