Champagne birthday for executive recruitment firm
Executive recruitment specialists The Really Good Recruitment Company celebrated the firm's first birthday with a champagne party at Exeter University's Reed Hall.
Guest speakers Paul Morrish, Commercial Director of Exeter City Football Club, and Glynis Atherton, chief executive of Hospiscare, Exeter, Mid & East Devon, congratulated the company on its successful first year of business.
The Really Good Recruitment Company, launched in by Hannah Ellis Murdock and Helen Kent, is entering its second year with business steadily growing.
The hard work involved in establishing the business in difficult times has paid off, says Helen. The firm now needs to do some recruiting of its own for an office manager, and plans to take on two more recruitment consultants later this year.
She added: "One reason we are growing is that there are many agencies who concentrate on more general commercial recruitment, but management and executive positions are not especially well covered in Devon and the South-west."
"It was a risk setting up the business when we were about to enter a recession and it has been quite a tough year at times, but we are looking forward to continuing growth over the next year with new staff on board"
