DBC Foodservice is an independently owned foodservice specialist, supplying over 8,000 multi-temperature products to caterers across all sectors.
With a turnover in excess of £260m per annum, DBC operate from 14 strategic locations, have a fleet of 213 multi-temperature vehicles ranging from 7.5 tonne to trunkers and employ over 1,000 people nationwide. With a robust inter-branch trunking network in place, DBC’s experience in delivering foodservice excellence is second to none.
Offering a true one-stop-shop service, DBC supply ambient grocery (Including own brand), chilled (Including own brand), frozen, fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh and cooked meat, non-food / hygiene, fair trade and organic products.
DBC’s mission is to be their customers’ preferred choice of distributor, by offering unparalleled service through operational excellence and adding genuine value through commercial dynamism. All branches are 3rd party accredited (STS), with robust quality management systems operating to HACCP principles.
DBC Foodservice pride themselves on being environmentally aware, and have recently been awarded ISO14001 accreditation. Additionally DBC have recently reduced the environmental impact of deliveries, having taken delivery of 64 new purpose built DAF 55 Multi-temperature vehicles in Quarter one, 2009. All carry Frigoblock refrigeration units and meet the latest Euro 5 regulations - underlining DBC’s continued commitment to reducing the environmental impact of operations.
DBC believe in forming relationships with customers. Long-standing partners include the MoD, Caffé Nero, Selecta, Rail Gourmet, NHS, SNUPI (Northern Universities) and 24 Local Authorities
New profit sector customer who have selected DBC as their foodservice supplier in the past 12 months include Little Chef, Prezzo, Loch Fyne, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Angus Steak House, MAAS, House of Lords and Young’s & Co. Brewery
All customers are able to order when it suits them - on line shopping – 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Launched in March 2001, DBC were the first foodservice company to provide on-line ordering facility - 24 hour password protected secure ordering with a full product search facility installed, with real time stock availability. DBC offer customers low prices through their nationwide buying power, combined with a fantastic service and a partnership approach.
