Fursdon Estate - Exeter Chamber of Commerce and Industry - supporting your business

At the heart of a traditional farming estate in Mid Devon, historic Fursdon House has been the home of the Fursdon family for over 750 years. Open to the public on Bank Holiday Mondays and twice weekly in June July and August the attractive house and gardens are well worth a visit. See website and local press for more detail.

David and Catriona are happy to host an evening tour of the house with a glass of wine or catering for your business or clients. Why not bring your business meetings out of town where our traditional Coach Hall can hold up to 50 people. Catering can be provided.

Two wings of the house have been converted into superb 4 star holiday apartments, recently awarded a Gold Award by Visit England, which are open all year round. The Park Wing sleeps 6 and the Garden Wing is perfect for 2 or 3.

Within the grounds are two lawned areas with spectacular views, suitable for marquees and wedding receptions are regularly held here.  Fursdon is available by negotiation for other events, launches, etc and the house and garden have been used as a film location.
