Geotechnics Ltd moves to bigger premises

 

Due to ongoing expansion Geotechnics Ltd have outgrown their office at Orchard Court and moved to bigger premises at Pinhoe on 29th June 2009.  The new location provides plenty of room for the growing number of staff, together with increased storage facilities for equipment.

The building was originally constructed in the 1960s for a company carrying out repairs to electrical equipment.  More recently it was used by a timber shed manufacturer.  The premises have been refurbished to a high standard, providing naturally lit open plan office space, meeting rooms and storage.

Geotechnics Limited was established in 1983 to provide the full spectrum of services relating to geotechnical engineering and contaminated land, including site investigation, Phase 1 contamination assessments, specialist instrumentation and monitoring. 

The variety of projects, range from small, pre-acquisition site 'health checks' to multi-million pound developments including low and high-rise buildings, brownfield regeneration sites, waterside developments, bridges and highways.  Clients vary from private individuals and companies, to Government departments, Local Authorities and Utility companies.

Geotechnics' team includes both Chartered Engineers and Chartered Geologists who between them have accumulated many years of practical experience in the construction industry. Geotechnics are also experienced in negotiating with regulatory bodies such as the NHBC, Environment Agency and local planning authorities to ensure any relevant conditions are signed off without unnecessary delay.

The Company supports innovative development in ground treatment, foundation design and slope stabilisation.  The company is Quality Assured to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001.
