Dear Chamber Member

Having spoken to various businesses over the last few months, it appears that commercial banks are still not operating in a helpful way to ensure that viable businesses are able to cope in this recession, in spite of assurances from the banks' headquarters that they are treating businesses fairly.

If possible, I would like the Exeter Chamber of Commerce members to  let me know if they are having difficulties in this way, and to provide details so that I can take the information back to Government, specifically HM Treasury and DBIS.
