Willmott Dixon expands Bristol office
Willmott Dixon Construction has expanded its South West headquarters in Bristol by taking additional space at its Queen Square location. The move adds some 25 per cent to the company's office size and reflects continuing growth in spite of the recession.
The company, which built Bristol's new Colston Hall foyer, is active in sites from Cheltenham in the north of the region to Plymouth in the south. Part of the £590 million Willmott Dixon Group, staff numbers in the South West and Wales have now grown to 180 and recruitment is continuing as the office plans its next stage of development in the region.
Explains Neal Stephens, managing director for Willmott Dixon in the South West: "In recent years we have firmly established our presence as part of the local construction scene and built a reputation not just for high standards of construction and service but also for our commitment to sustainability and supporting the communities within which we work. We believe we offer something over and above the givens of construction and it is this approach to business which is helping us expand in spite of the currently challenging trading conditions."
The recently published Sunday Times Green List positions Willmott Dixon Group as the greenest construction company in the UK.
Willmott Dixon group includes Willmott Dixon Construction; maintenance specialist, Sustain; Kanvas Interiors; Re-Thinking, a consultancy focussed on sustainability and innovation in the built environment; Inspace, which provides a range of services to the housing market; Willmott Dixon Investments; and Willmott Dixon Developments.
