With tenders becoming ever more competitive, every company needs all the help it can get to win. And with more and more commercial and public sector bodies wanting to know the ‘Green Credentials' of their possible suppliers, you need to know how to maximise your efforts.
Learn how you can win more tenders and save money through purchasing by making the most of sustainable procurement policies and by using the award winning ‘Green Accord' approach across your supply chain.
More companies are insisting upon ‘Green' Sustainable questions in their tenders requiring suppliers to really get up to speed with good environmental credentials. Also larger companies and buyers can make better investments and cost effective buying decisions if they adopt more sustainable procurement policies, that look at economic, social and environmental and increasingly carbon costs not just of now but of the whole lifetime of ownership of the products.
One of the best ways is using the multi-award winning Green Accord approach which is already used by buyers such as the Met Office, Sir Robert McAlpine, University of Exeter, and TATA Consultancy Services. This allows buyers to work with suppliers and suppliers to prove their green credentials, even without a formal Environmental Management System and set yourself apart from your competitors.
Listen first hand how approaches have saved businesses money from experts in sustainable procurement and a local growing company and what support there is available to you to help you.
It can be confusing to understand what IS sustainable procurement and what policies and approaches to put in place. This event will help with expert local knowledge and independent informative talks to enable you to understand:

- Learn from a business on how sustainable procurement has helped them win work and save money
- What support is available to you
