Exeter's 2nd Learning Disability FLASHMOB #SeeMe #HearMe
Posted on: August 4th 2016
Section: Member news

We are pleased to announce that we are producing our second disability awareness FLASHMOB this year. It is a privilege to work alongside Exeter disability charity CEDA once more. We will be in rehearsal with our performance troupe of local adults with learning disabilities throughout the summer and getting ready for a colourful extravaganza in Princesshay and The Guildhall on September 21st (International Day of Peace). Together we will be celebrating community, individuality and uniqueness. The #SeeMe #HearMe message is loud and clear, everyone can play a part in cultural life and we all deserve opportunities to express ourselves.

Later this month we will be launching a 28 day Crowdfunder to help towards the costs of organising this community wellbeing and self-advocacy project. Any support that you feel able to offer will be greatly appreciated by everyone involved. Keep an eye out for the campaign to donate and to find out about our exciting #SeeMe #HearMe rewards.
