Alzheimer’s Society chosen as Ashfords LLP’s Charity of the Year

National provider of legal and professional services Ashfords LLP, has announced its Charity of the Year as Alzheimer's Society following a vote by the firm's employees. The firm will be fundraising for Alzheimer's Society until April 2018.

 

Alzheimer's Society is a charity that supports those affected by dementia through both practical and emotional support. They also provide information, invest in world-class research and campaign to improve public understanding of dementia and the devastating impact it can have.

 

Ashfords' Charity Committee will be led by Employment Partner, Vanessa James and Paralegal, Ross Carter. Vanessa commented: “Our staff have voted for Alzheimer's Society to be our Charity of the Year, a charity which supports and makes a real difference to people affected by dementia. We are looking forward to working with Alzheimer's Society to help raise as much funds and awareness of the work that the charity provides as possible.

 

We have set ourselves a fundraising target of £100,000 which we have high hopes of exceeding by April 2018 through a number of exciting fundraising initiatives.”
