Exeter College Shows Why It’s Number One For Apprenticeships

Exeter College’s Business Solutions team demonstrated again this week why they are the best business support team in Exeter again this week, by helping well-established digital marketing agency, We Love Social, find their first apprentice in their newly opened Exeter office.

The Apprenticeship team was able to meet with the company the same day and sign up a member of their existing staff onto one of the new Level 4 Apprenticeships, with a request to find for four more Apprentices. This is great news for those looking for a role within in a thriving industry that is fully supported by both the employer and the college via our Think Apprenticeship programme.

This makes We Love Social one of the first employers to put a member of existing staff through a Level 4 (higher level) Digital Marketing Apprenticeship.

Mike Blakeley, Director of Apprenticeships and Employer Engagement, said: “This type of business engagement is testament to why we were awarded the Exeter Living Award for Business Services. We were delighted to be able to support a new local business by finding an Apprentice within their existing team who will benefit from both a qualification and real work experience. We will now be looking for those with a passion for digital marketing who are looking to develop an exciting career to fill the other positions.”

James Bradley, Founder of We Love Social, said: “The response time to our enquiry was really impressive, and the information we received was detailed and informative. We Love Social are really excited about developing a great working relationship with Exeter College, and engaging with new emerging talent through the Digital Marketing Apprenticeship scheme.’’

Any employers looking to put existing staff through training and development are urged to get in touch on 01392 400800 to discuss.
