Torbay families are set for a summer of fun thanks to free events planned by Cosmic to help people get socially and digitally connected.
The events are a key part of the Positive People project, funded by the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund. Activities range from building your own Virtual Reality headset to creating stop-motion animations, and will encourage families to spend fun time together, as well as building local relationships.
Emma Hupertz, Digital Training Assistant at Cosmic says, “A study from The Mirror has shown that due to busy lifestyles, parents spend on average just 34 minutes of undistracted time with their child each day. The sessions will be invaluable for those who are seeking to spend more quality time with their child over the school holiday”.
