Princesshay and Visit Exeter have announced dates for two large-scale street performances coming to the city centre this festive season.

The first of the two free shows is ‘Arco’, a magnificent fifteen minute display of acrobatics, performed to music from a 12 metre high inflated arch. Three 15 minute performances starting at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm will wow shoppers in Princesshay Square Thursday 30th November.  The giant arch features its own light show, changing colour while framing the amazing aerial performer.

The second show, ‘Spark!’ is a mesmerising thirty minute group display that combines high impact drumming with kaleidoscopic lighting. Three separate shows will be held on Thursday 7th December at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm on. Each performance will begin in Princesshay Square and slowly move around the centre, enchanting shoppers.

These epic shows will take place during two of Princesshay’s six late night shopping evenings kicking off with the light switch on event hosted by Exeter BID on Thursday 16th November. ‘Arco’ and ‘Spark!’ are two of the many festive events Princesshay has in store over the Christmas season. Stay connected with Princesshay on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more updates over the coming weeks, and follow #HayChristmas across all social channels to see the festivities unfold.
