Exeter businesses are being offered the chance to prepare themselves for the escalating war against cyber crime.
The UK's only Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW) is returning to Exeter next month to help Exeter businesses. The week-long programme of free informative seminars, networking opportunities and workshop sessions will cover all aspects of cyber crime, from taking preventative steps to a live data recovery demonstration. With the imminent introduction of the GDPR and increased need for data security, a whole seminar day will be dedicated to preparing for the change in data protection compliance.
The event is being hosted by Bluegrass Group and is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses who may not have the time, nor the expertise to protect themselves.
The programme will be announced at a free networking and launch event on Thursday 25 January from 11am to 12.30pm. The session is free to attend and open to anyone; they just need to register at www.bluegrassgroup.eventbrite.co.uk. As well as copies of the programme to take away, there will be drinks and nibbles plus the opportunity to network with other businesses.
