Since its launch in November, the InExeter Independent Gift Card has seen a great take up with local retailers and now other businesses are pledging their support by using the gift card to thank others. Hunters Estate Agent will offer each of their customers an InExeter Independent Gift Card as a thank you when they finalise their home purchase or rental agreement. In turn, Hunters hope that the gift card will encourage new residents of the city to explore the city’s vibrant range of independent businesses.
Anthony Thomas, Director at Hunter said; “As an independently owned branch of estate agents we are proud to support other independent businesses here in our beautiful city. We are delighted to share our love for local independent businesses by giving this brilliant new Independent Gift Card to our customers.”
Ann Hunter, InExeter manager said; “Hunters is a business at the heart of Exeter and we are excited to be working with them to help others discover and explore Exeter’s excellent range of independent retailers. We are proud to launch this scheme and the InExeter Gift Card which is helping to support Exeter’s independent businesses. We would encourage other businesses to consider using the gift card to thank their own customers or teams.”
InExeter, the city’s business improvement district, launched the InExeter Independent Gift Card in November. The gift card can be spent in over 70 of Exeter’s more boutique businesses including cafes, restaurants, shops and service providers.
Retailers included within the list of independent businesses supporting the card are Aromatika, Hyde and Seek, Kapbula Organics, Exeter Phoenix, Devon Coffee, Willow Hilson Vintage and HUBBOX.
InExeter hopes to work with other businesses across the city, helping to raise awareness for buying local and supporting independently owned businesses. For more information on the InExeter Independent Gift Card or to make a purchase, visit www.inexetergiftcard.co.uk
