Exeter Chamber of Commerce meet with Managing Director of Strategic Infrastructure Development

Exeter Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with Kim Mears, Managing Director of Strategic Infrastructure Development at BT Openreach this week.  Bringing together a group of members, the attendees were briefed by BT Openreach on their roll-out for fibre in Exeter, one of eight pilot cities in the UK and by Victoria Hatfield, Economy and Enterprise Manager at Exeter City Council.  The group had the opportunity to ask some challenging questions on the roll out for business and were encouraged to consider how their own businesses could develop as a result.  Exeter Chamber board director and joint managing director of Cosmic, Julie Hawker, will lead of a campaign addressing the state of digital connectivity in Exeter.
