Jamie Bartlett, journalist and author of the famed work, The Dark Net, will be coming to Exeter on Wednesday 6 March to present to business owners at a free to attend event.
Jamie is the keynote speaker at the Bluegrass Group’s one-day conference, "Protect, Detect, Mitigate", during Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW).
An engaging speaker, Jamie lights up the hidden corners of the internet to reveal the strange subcultures and protagonists that inhabit it - from Bitcoin miners to neo-Nazis. He'll be giving delegates an insight into the digital underworld and the real threat to SMEs.
Joining Jamie at the conference will be a fantastic line-up of expert speakers who will provide attendees with the solutions to today's cyber security challenges.
The conference is open to all, free to attend, and can be booked HERE.
It’s proving popular with a third of the spaces already taken since the programme launched last week.
CSAW is a week-long programme of free events designed to educate and inform local businesses to help them conquer the growing cyber threat. As well as the one-day conference, there will be an evening networking event, a day of webinar sessions, a lunchtime roundtable session, and four cyber breakfasts.
