Technology managed service provider has been awarded certifications as a result of its ongoing commitment to customers
January 2020 – Technology managed service provider ITEC has attained Level 2 ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 security certifications for Information Security, Environmental Assurance and Quality Assurance, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to observing best practices for its customers.
ITEC was awarded the Level 2 certifications by external UKAS accreditor Approachable Certification. With the ISO certifications, customers can be confident that ITEC’s Technology Managed Services are effectively supported, protected and monitored.
Ian Stewart, Director at ITEC, who spearheaded the accreditation efforts, said: “Becoming fully ISO certified by an accredited UKAS organisation gives ITEC customers the peace of mind that they are being looked after by an efficiently run and well-structured company that has consideration for its environment, the systems and processes it uses and the information and data that it holds. I’m incredibly proud of all the effort the ITEC staff put in to help us achieve these certifications in such a short period of time.”
ISO 9001:2015 requires an organisation to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer, statutory and regulatory requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction through effective application of systems and processes. ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an organisation to enhance its environmental performance and achieve environmental objectives, while ISO/IEC 27001 dictates the need to establish, implement and maintain and information security management system within the context of the organization.
