Exeter-based web design studio Nettl, have launched Support Exeter
- a website aimed at helping local businesses and charities reacting to
the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

The website lets customers know how they can best support local businesses in
these challenging times.

Nettl’s Studio Manager, Tom Dobson said, “When the government first started
announcing restrictions, many of the small businesses we talk to daily were thrown
very suddenly into a kind of ‘limbo’, with no clear way out.

Hearing the very real panic and distress was quite upsetting. We decided to set up
the website to help our clients through this tough period. We love building websites
and going above and beyond to help our clients. This is a great way of doing both.”
The website already has businesses listed from a wide range of services; from local
shops and retail to business services, mechanics, solicitors and restaurants offering
take-away food. Since launching, we have nearly thirty local businesses listed, but
we want to help more! A listing on the website is totally free, and businesses can
register via the website at

Donate Your Commute

As part of the Support Exeter website, Nettl have also launched ‘Donate your
Commute’, which links visitors with local good causes. Many people are finding
that they are saving money on their travel and lunch costs by working from home.
We’re asking that they donate this extra cash to local charities, who need more
support than ever. If you run a local charity that would like to benefit, please contact
