Are you adapting your business? Is your business supporting the Covid-relief effort? Do you need new skillsets NOW?
The University of Plymouth’s STEM Graduates into Business project is proud to provide the Small Business Workforce Fund to support eligible small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Devon with the recruitment of STEM graduates. To provide flexibility to businesses facing changing market demands, this temporary Fund, which is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), allows graduates to be employed as a paid-intern for three months to fill any existing skills gaps.
Incentive payments to cover up to 50% of employee wages
We recognise that financially, it is a difficult time for all businesses. Therefore, the Small Business Workforce Fund will provide incentive payments to cover up to 50% of the graduate employee salary – up to £200 per week, or £2,400 over three months (also available pro-rata).
By working with STEM Graduates into Business, this also removes any upfront recruitment costs and includes support throughout the application process, allowing you to focus on key business priorities.
Helping your business to be flexible, responsive and adapt
STEM Graduates into Business provides access to adaptable graduates, with the relevant skills and abilities to support your business. A graduate can bring state-of-the-art skills that can support new product development – the perfect candidates to help your business to respond to market changes.
Available for a limited time only
This Fund is designed to support SMEs with recruitment and skills needs during this uncertain time and funding is limited. Contact us to find out more information and recruit a graduate now – email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.plymouth.ac.uk/stem-grad.
