On Thursday 16th May, Exeter Chamber will be holding the second in a series of 'Business Breakfast Briefings' - a new series of events exclusively for chamber members to hear from city and regional leaders.
The Business Breakfast Briefings will give Chamber members exclusive opportunities to learn more about plans for the city and surrounding area’s future, giving member access to information to aid strategic decision making for their own businesses and to hear about forthcoming opportunities.
The second event will be taking place at Exeter Library from 8:30am - 10:30am with Phil Norrey, Chief Executive and Head of Paid Services at Devon County Council.
Leading on the strategic vision for the authority, Phil has responsibility for ensuring the Council is future ready and makes the most of opportunities to be inventive, flexible and responsive to local need.
Phil’s remit covers Corporate Services which includes Democratic Services, Policy, Legal Services, Communications, Human Resources, Finance and Business Strategy and Support.
Phil will be updating on regional council developments including:
- Traffic management in the city
- Updates on Alphington Park & Ride and Marsh Barton Train Station
- Devon County Council's priorities for supporting the county’s economy
- Updates on the broadband improvement
The cost to attend for members is £12 inc VAT (@ 20%). There will be tea/coffee and Danish pastries.
