Event Description

The next ExIST Quarterly Event will be taking place on Thursday 13th July 2017 at Flybe Training Academy from 8:30am - 11am. 

This event will be looking at Smart Healthcare, illustrating how innovations from local companies and researchers enable better informed decisions in healthcare.  

 

The cost for this event is £15 (Inc VAT @ 20%) and is open for all to attend.

  • The Future of Clinical Decision Making
    Professor John Terry, University of Exeter 

Professor John Terry, is a Professor of Biomedical Modelling, Director of the EPSRC Centre for Predictive Modelling in Healthcare and Co-Director of the Wellcome Trust ISSF2 Centre for Biomedical Modelling and Analysis. John is now part of the University of Exeter’s new Living Systems Institute (LSI), which will pioneer novel approaches to understanding diseases and how they can be better diagnosed.

Find out more about how the work Prof John Terry is involved with is aiding clinical decision making and how his research in epilepsy diagnosis created the opportunity for a spin-out company.
