PAUL NERO

Paul is a company director, writer and broadcaster who specialises in media, business, technology and consumer issues. He is managing director of Devon commercial station Radio Exe, which is one of the country’s few remaining independent radio stations, and publisher of a new magazine, Good Deal for Devon.

Following a career in media and advertising, and with international brands such as the BBC, Visa and the Financial Times, in 2001 he co-founded copywriting agency Plain Text, with clients including the British Council, CSC Digital Brand Services, Energy Saving Trust, HP, Hay Group, Henley Group International, KPMG, Lex and Vodafone.

A graduate of Exeter University, Paul holds an MBA from Bristol Business School, is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and has written five books, ‘Creative Business’, ‘Blagging It’, ‘Pigeon Guided Missiles, ‘Ye Olde Good Inn Guide’ and ‘History’s Narrowest Escapes’.
